The spot the ref gave the Indiana player on the 2nd and 6 play at the 19 with 4 minutes left in the third quarter. Terrible call. I've seen bad spots before, but never that bad.

There were a number of poor calls against us, and that one may have been the worst based on how bad it was. The official in question needs to review the play with
higher ups and be punished accordingly, based simply on how horrible the call was.

I rarely ever question the refs, and didn't see the replay, but there were several questionable calls. I try and be objective, but holy cow it wasn't just one poor call.

Indiana was given good spots all day.

The spot Jerminic Smith got on that 9 1/2 yard reception was awful, then they basically give Daniels no gain after that.

By far the worst officiated game of the year. The spots and the one sided holding calls showed an obvious agenda by the zebras.

Our table noticed the spots all day. Some were a good yard and a half further than they should have been.

Neiman got mugged against ther LT with the ref looking right at it and no call

Yes, Neiman got darn near tackled and no holding call(Luckily, we still made the play). Yet they happened to find two cheap ones against us, when we had completed passes for first downs.

You really can't be that bad at spotting the ball on accident. Especially when your spotting it long for one team and short for the other.

The head ref was jerry mcginn I'm not smart enough to paste the article I read but Google in his name and his crew has had issues before like most crews.or Google in line makers.sportingnews.com/jerrymcginn

Exactly...indy was short on the 4th down. I'm suprised it didn't get reviewed. Clearly short on tv. It was BS, but the refs needed to make sure indy covered...er...close anyway...

They don't want iowa in the championship game. Maybe they want wisky in there...we'll see how bad the play calling is against Minny
Having Iowa in any national TV exposure will loose millions to someone that is so called "higher classed" or having a stronger national following.

Heck, I can't believe it's not butter!

In all honesty that was the point when I started going ape shit at the tv. I believe that was the drive after Jermanic caught it on 2nd down and they gave him a shitty spot and we failed to convert.

How can anything be disregarded when money is involved, that's the way i look at it. ;) may not be true, but could be as well. Refs have been known to take bribes...happens more than one would think.

The thing is, it wasn't just one bad spot or missed call. It was literally almost everyone one that benefited IU for an extra yard or more and on top of it, several Iowa spots that were much shorter than were the ball was.

Take a look at CJs QB sneak on 3rd down in the first half. They missed the spot of the ball by almost 2 yards. It was almost like it was a joke.

That referee and his crew is one of those that makes you think oh s*** when you see them. One of the worst no calls was the blatant pick play Indiana ran to spring Howard on a swing pass on the 2nd series, it was also 3rd and 7 and he picked up the first. There was no way they didnt see it. It was in the middle of the field and nobody else was around. The Iowa coaches were just going crazy

I believe it was the Illinois game where we punted and the ball was allowed to roll dead at the 4 yard line. One of our players walked in and touched it down. The ref picked it up, walked to the hash mark and spotted it at the 5. Either a bad case of Alzheimers or something fishy going on cause there was zero subjectivity in that one. This topic drives me nuts cause I want to say it cant be a conspiracy and I am just biased. But I stop the DVR, watch it in slow mo and just can't believe how many times IA gets hosed by spots, a yard at a time. Makes me think I am going crazy.
