If you think that construction doesn't slow down during the winter then there's no reason to keep discussing any of this with you.
Well maybe we need more threads about some situations that I have much more empathy for. Let’s talks about people dying of cancer for no reason or people dying in a car crash for no reason. Some things people deserve empathy over. In fact I’ve shared empathy in some of those similar threads, when someone’s family member or pets dies.
Not something that involves a person making a choice that turned out to not be such a great choice in the end.
Plus you say I don’t have empathy but I clearly showed you earlier that I do. I think they should get the 16 weeks I just don’t think they need 25 weeks. That’s still having empathy for someone.
This clearly shows that I’m not the one criticizing for things invented in my head but it shows that you are the one doing so when you say I have no empathy.

Construction doesn't slow down during the winter, it merely goes inside where it becomes less apparent to the casual observer,.. You plan the entire year around the anticipated weather patterns,.. Thanksgiving is always a building enclosure goal for places like Iowa...
You claimed that deporting immigrants would open up jobs. It would. But would anyone take them? And the answer is probably not.
We are already at full employment. Anyone who wants a job in this state probably already has one. There simply aren't enough people on unemployment to make a significant dent in the job market.
So deport the people who build our buildings, and work at the meat processing plants, and chances are nobody fills these positions.
It absolutely slows down.
