Riley Till was part of Senior Night. Pemsl Transferring. We are now at 13 on Scholarship for 2020-21

I've seen some people mention that at the time we signed the five guys, Fran couldn't have foreseen the season Garza was going to have. But also, Fran could have also thought Jordan would be healthy enough to play the entire season and therefore he'd be done. I still say either Jordan leaves (based on comments from his old high school coach saying Jordan told him transferring was a good possibility) or Garza (as the national POY) leaves early.
Maybe, but if Jordan transferring was predetermined, then wouldn’t we expect him to take part in senior day festivities? A proper send off is the least he deserves for what he has contributed to the program

It may have been an option before the season. Now that this season is happening, would he really want to transfer if everyone else is back and healthy?

Anything is possible, but what would be the gain for JBo if Garza and Weiskamp come back?
  • He's beloved at Iowa
  • He's going to get plenty of playing time if healthy
  • He's a guy they'll look for late in close games
  • With the talent coming back, they'll have a chance to win a conference title and make a deep run in the tourney
I just don't see it.....but I didn't see Moss going either, although with what I've seen from CJF, I half wonder if maybe he saw writing on the wall, but I doubt that's it.

Exactly.

He may have a shot overseas somewhere, but NBA is likely out of the picture, given his relative athletic limitations. So why wouldn’t he want to spend his last year in college somewhere that he will have a great shot to earn a high seed and make a deep run in the tournament, with players he knows?... especially if Garza returns. On what team are you going to play with a big man who routinely attracts two/three defenders and operates from everywhere on the court, two other 40% shooters, the guy with the leading A/TO in the nation, and the quickest point guard that Iowa has had under Fran? I predict a lot of wide open shots

Don't forget:

* He's going to continue increasing his lead on the Iowa all time three point goals made list
* He has a chance to be #1 on the B1G all time three point goals made list

* He would likely be in the top 10 (up to top 6) on the All time Iowa scoring list

No, it would be extremely awkward IMO.

Allot of fans would be pissed.

Bohannon likely wouldn't find a better situation for PT or winning than coming back to Iowa assuming Luka is back.

Iowa is a legitimate final 4 contender next year.

We need to get down to 13, of course.

The 3 Seniors who will be honored on Tuesday night:

With all of the DJ Carton speculation/hope, just a reminder where we are at in terms of scholarships.

Here is a list of things that couldn't possibly happen at the beginning of the season.

1. JBo transfers
2. Luka becomes National Player of the Year
3. B1G Tourney and the Dance canceled due to a virus.

Or Connor sticks strictly to baseball and Patrick quits playing because he is physically unable too....if that happened Iowa would be 1 scholarship under the limit.....

Is Belmont the only school showing interest in Riley till or is there division two schools showing interest

what happens if the NCAA gives seniors another year of eligibility and Kriener & Evelyn want another shot at the Big Dance?
I'd love Kriener back, but Evelyn...
