I was at emo's a couple months ago for lemmy's last show or one of his last shows. I got it on film, he comes out and says he "can't do this" and leaves. he was very visibly ill.

Little known fact about Alan Rickman in Die Hard: For his dead scene he agreed to fall onto an airbag 25 feet (7.62 meters) below on the count of three. Except the director and the stunt people thought they would get a better reaction if they dropped him on the count of “one.” They were right. His face is priceless.

He was good in Harry Potter as well. Played a very complex character through multiple movies very well IMO.

I really liked it. Justin Long almost made it unwatchable, but Shalhoub, and Rockwell were very good in it. Daryl Mitchell was outstanding. I thought Allen and Weaver were just OK. Rickman had a great role.

A truly gifted actor in a lot of films. As mentioned, he played an extremely complex role in the Harry Potter movies. Legendary stage actor as well.
