RIP in peace Mojo Nixon

Mojo Nixon has passed away. Mojo was one crazy character. He was very cosmopolitan in his political views but championed good old low brow American music and culture. If his music was being played in trailer parks, he was happy.

His biggest hit was a tribute to Elvis called ‘Elvis is Everywhere’. He put on an incredible show when I saw him at Stebs in CF. Hilarious and awesome.

Mojo believed (as do I) that rock n roll should be wild and crazy and that Don Henley and the Eagles trying to make it some high art was complete crap.
