Rock solid hearings for Trump's nominees....

Yesterday, the DoD nominee did absolutely nothing to show he was “qualified” to run the Oentagon but friended in Republican senators on the committee to deflect for him. Ms. Biondi was really disappointing. She was defensive towards all “hypotheticals” asked of her and in my mind, she left no doubt that as AG she will always act as Trump’s attorney first and foremost. However, both nominees will get in as they have the votes…both will be strictly party line votes.
I bet not. I bet that one or both get Democrat votes. Not a lot but some.

Wanna put your 'money' where your mouth is?

Loser can't post for a month.

Bet old, fat, joel would have confirmed this then kissed it hard, deep and wet!! >

I think Hegseth meets and exceeds the standards. Not answering one single question is hardly disqualifying.

I mean, honestly, listen to yourself. Didn't get one answer after all the questions? We are, thank God, at the tail end of the Biden disaster.

EVERY single leftist on here and nationally made excuses for his obvious mental decline over 4 years. And this was our President. Forgive me if I find your objections to Hegseth a bit self serving. This guy could run circles around Biden, Austin etc...

But yep, you're against him. Got it. And I don't care. He's about to be Sec Def. Losing elections, well, like all of them, has consequences.
So you honestly believe in no women in the military???

He didn’t need to do anything yesterday. The hearing was Tuesday.

At various points throughout the hearing, under Democratic questioning, Hegseth also did not rule out invading Greenland and Panama; following an order from Trump to shoot domestic protesters; ignoring the Geneva Conventions; repealing a policy that reimburses service members for travel related to reproductive health care, including abortion; rolling back protections for LGBTQ+ troops; and firing chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. C.Q. Brown.

Hegseth denied knowledge of the email, but did not deny the administration plans to comb through the ranks to find officers to fire.

No he said he isnt fan of women in combat roles.

Unless they can meet the standards. No lowering of standards to allow for more women in combat roles.
That what he said in his hearing, that is clearly not what he has stated in previous statements or written documents. If he is a poor communicator, that is on him. More likely its just him waffling because he is now being questioned on his stances. I still haven't seen where unqualified women are in the militaria or have been passed on to "meet quotas." Those are his statements, again with no supporting documentation.

Hegseth: Don't agree with his opinions on policies. But he's not a dumb person.
Rubio: Don't agree with his opinions on policies. But he's not a dumb person.
Biondi: Don't agree with her opinions on policies. But she's not a dumb person.

Noem: Absolute moron. Dumber than a box of rocks.

Documentation? He was in the military and saw it for himself.

You leftists all want evidence for everything when policies are proposed that you are opposed to yet when it's your own legislation evidence is irrelevant.

Take the supposed decrease in suicidality with 'gender affirming surgery' (child abuse and mutilation) in teens as one example.

The evidence is to the contrary yet......anecdotes are enough. Typical.

I'll bite, troll.

Hegseth was well prepared. Wants to stear the military is the right direction, build up for modern war. Wasn't rattled while under frontal assault by rabid democrats. Had good answers regarding the anonymous sources. Didn't' get squishy. Stayed on message.

Bondi. Strong woman. Can see why the Democrats don't like her. She's a conservative and her IQ is double that of many on the left questioning her. Interrupted their interruptions. Wants to follow the rule of law and specifically disavowed the notion find me the person I'll find the crime. Far cry from Garland.

Didn't see any of the rest yeserday including Rubio. This group will bring real and needed change. I can't wait.
Heg's qualifications are laughable. A major in the reserves is his command experience, coupled with the numerous cited drunk of the job / sexual assuuly accusations / martial infidelities scream competent and reliable.

Bondi is definitely the best qualified nominee, but she has a history of serving Trump's best interests, not the publics.

The one thing they all brought to the table is unwavering loyalty to Trump, and that's all the GOP cares about.

Show me quotas. He made a claim. This should be easily proved or disproved. It’s not an anecdotal, it’s merely asking you and him to support his claim.

Sure but we know, after the last 4 years, that one can claim anything they want right?

Well she was his attorney after all. She served as one of his attorneys for the impeachment trial in 2020. She stopped being AG for Florida in 2019 and then served Trump or his personal interests in lots of cases/capacities.

Are you saying the attorneys aren't to represent their clients, rather, the public interest?

Isn't access to one's own legal counsel a bedrock principle of our legal system?

Basically you are saying that Trump's attorney shouldn't serve his interests. SMH.

Your first paragraph aptly describes why the vast majority of Americans agree with his policy positions...

You remember Holder was Obama's wingman.

They couldn’t take the bait because they are clearly unqualified and have little-to-no knowledge of the position they were nominated. That is crystal clear, everyone who watched even five minutes recognizes this.
Wtf

Consider the source. It's obvious he didn't watch them.
I watched. It’s obvious you didn’t. They struggled to answer basic questions. If you can’t see that then you’re more brainwashed than we realized.

This whole thread, like most of what the MAGAts post is pure trolling. Clearly, most of the cabinet nominees are not even remotely qualified, that is indisputable.
