My previous handle of like-woah got blacklisted after I told BubbaJay on the basketball board to "Eat a D" after Iowa decimated them. I spent about 5 minutes trying to find Tom's email to get it reinstated and gave up and just added an extra "H" to the end of it. It was probably warranted though, I don't censor myself and probably went on a rampage prior to that. Still pretty lame that the last straw was throwing down on a Michigan troll. Oh well.

Agreed. I'm a lib so I'll generally give someone a second chance. Maybe they lost it one day and got banned. Heck, I usually don't even notice the second handle. It's the ones who keep coming back again and again that just make me shake my head. It's so pathetic. The worst of the worst are the ones who invest extra time into creating extra posts, like themselves with another handle, and try to create a whole different persona. Then they blow it by writing in the very same style, going manic, and going after the same folks with their pants down around their ankles.
There are some people on here who really need help.
First and only.... Peaked during Orange Bowl One. I'd actually participate more around here if I set up a more anonymous account, but I guess I have a lot of pride maintaining this since college.

If you removed like 4-5 words out of your rant, you'd be describing 90% of HROT.
Also..it's not like limiting yourself to one (likely false) handle/persona holds some high honor or regard. We're all just wasting time on a message board.

Retirement and winter weather and the fear of losing one's mind does funny things.
The neat part about this website ... way back when I signed up was that you could use a two word screen name. You could put a space between your first (screen) name and your last name. It was years before I found anyplace else with this feature. In the meantime I have set up accounts all over the web by borrowing literary names in combination with letters and numbers, etc. There have been so many that I have actually locked myself out because some of the combinations were too obscure.
A two-word screen name without any numbers or special characters? That looks on screen like an actual name? How amazing is that? ... and so easy to remember!
