Yes...he fumbled 4 times in the first half. He also had a big hand in winning several games for Iowa throughout his career. I personally don't think he threw the game. I loved watching him play in both college and the pros. He was incredible in the Chargers run to the Superbowl. May be the best third down back in NFL history.
Fumble numerous times - yes absolutely he did. Did he throw the game? not sure but awfully suspicious.
Seemed awfully suspicious when and where it happened during the game. We’ll never know for sure, but from what I saw at the time, it leans towards the “yes he did”
Since Ronnie did not seem to have ball control troubles during the season (to the best of my recollection), his, shall I say poor handling of the football looked very very suspicious, however, that is a secret I am quite sure Ronnie will take to his grave.

In that game alone, he had one quarter of the fumbles that he had during an entire 14-year NFL career.

He and his brother Kevin both had new Honda scooters, like the big ones, I think they were the 250 cc versions. Fairly pricey back in the day. I remember seeing Kevin on his mostly, zooming around campus. I even heard through the grapevine at the time that Kevin rode his back home to New Jersey.
They wouldn’t put him on blast but they wouldn’t invite him back to be honorary captain, now would they?

Hmm…the fact that his agent had ties to the mob and was accused of throwing other games? OF COURSE HARMON DID!
Ive been thinking it was 3 all these tears for some reason. This is even more suspect then.

He absolutely did. Dropped a TD pass as well. The fix was in and Harmon was owned by Norby Walters.
I’m too lazy to link it but you can watch it on YouTube. One of his fumbles near the goal line I recall he practically tosses the ball to the UCLA defenders.
I don't think he did. First fumble was a botched hand off and he did have one legit fumble too. But one fumble his knee was already down and another was really an incomplete pass they called a catch by 1985 standards. I don't think he could've even tried fumbling away those two because the play was over before they really happened. It was also the game he wore sleeves that he never wore any other game if I recall Hayden mentioning it later.

Yes, and not to mention a whole lot of kick returns on top of that.
I will never believe Ronnie would ever have been part of something like a few of you suggest he was.
