An actual smart response from you would be to point out that Howard's coach is only in his second year and deserves time to prove himself. Especially considering that Howard has only finished above 300 in Kenpom once this decade and needs time for a rebuild.Yes because no black coach could develop a player as good as a white coach. Not possible. What a disgusting attitude.

Instead you pull the race card even though you were the first one to mention skin color.
People are going to question why Howard and not another school with a more proven coach in place. The player is probably aiming to be one and done, but he's only 18th in the 2020 class. That's not a bonafide lottery lock if things go south. Only 15 freshmen were drafted in 2019.
It's his decision at the end of the day. Could go well or poorly like any college decision.
He’s probably a better coach than the fired Steve Alfraud. The Coach of Howard is at Howard not UCLA for a reason.

The guy will never set foot on Howard's campus as a student. He'll go to the GLeague. If he was serious about playing at a HBCU he would have picked one that had a shot at making the NCAA's. This was just about making a statement without having to actually take the risk.

If that was the case he wouldn't have said maybe more players will be going to HBCU's with my commitment.Or again, maybe going to school at the “Black Harvard” isn’t too bad an idea.

So?A poor man's Black Harvard would be a more apt description.
Their admissions standards aren't in the same realm as Harvard's.
