Those kids turned into the team I thought they COULD be this year. They just said on BTN that Rutgers should stay ranked if they beat Nebraska and I agree.

They are tough, can get to the hoop and play good defense.

If Ybosi and Harper are hitting 3's like they were in 1st half, then they are an elite team. Rutger's defense is legit, but I didn't see a lot of post scoring out of Johnson. They will live and die by Ybosi/Harper shooting. Harper is 11.8ppg guy, but for some reason he is a pain in azz for Iowa.

Tough game tonight, hard fought. In the strength vs. strength matchup, your offensive strength definitely trumped our defensive strength.

Garza is a nightmare, and it took us 3/4 of the game to figure out how to deny him the ball. Toussaint is legit and only a freshman - not looking forward to playing him over the next 2-3 years. And Wieskamp killed us again - this time with a great overall game, though, and not a prayer from the corner.

Really wish we were getting you a second time this year at the RAC - will just have to hope for a meeting in the B1G tournament.

Read going into the game they were 308th in 3 pt %. Harper 2 best scoring games ever now both at Carver. So kudos for the hawks still winning and tightening down on them after they couldn’t miss in the first half. They have a really good coach in Pikiell and as he said in post game they start 4 sophs and geo baker who has started before his injury is a junior. So they aren’t going away anytime soon. Even more credit to them is their best post player from last year transferred to Oregon.

Me too. However, they have a game in Madison on Feb. 23. I hope they pound the hell out of Wisky AGAIN. We got Wisky on Monday here at home. I hope we pound the hell out of them as well.

Honestly I’m pretty thrilled we don’t play there. Would be about as tough of a win there as there will be in the Big10.
