Rutgers is the best defensive team in the league. We need to play tougher and guard, plain and simple. Or you all can keep bitching about the refs. Pemsl and Kreiner have to do something on defense at least. Not sure Pemsl should see the court the 2nd half.

Rutgers very impressive in the first half. Had not seen them play yet this year because, well, no one gives a fvck about Rutgers.

IA needs to adjust to the aggressive on ball and down low defense by Rutgers. Refs letting them play.

Id hope so. Play that physical and only have four foul calls. They should be the best defensive team in the league.
Exactly thought I have every time the game announcers and studioheads do everything they can to avoid/absolve refs of any criticism. But whatever well-played game hopefully Rutgers stops scoring on bad possessions. Pretty much every possession where balls were deflected or fumbled they ended up scoring, sometimes on pretty lucky shots.
Going to be interesting to see how much mental energy our guys have.
Rutgers coach really turned around that program quickly. I'm going to puke if Rutgers finishes ahead of Iowa in B1G standings. Iowa not going to win this game if Rutgers shoots 54% or better from 3.

I think it’s more due to Rutgers aggressive defense. Joe doesn’t typically perform well with that - he’s more coming off the screens and driving in open lanes within the flow of the offense.

Refs aren't making us turn the ball over 7 times nor are they making us go 1/4 from the charity stripe. We just need to play more composed and less sloppy.
