It's because of gentlemen like this person and my relative that died of als that I've dedicated my life to science. We don't make much and work like slaves but the reward is in saving a single life.

We can now make motor neurons quite consistently from reprogrammed stem cells. The bigger issue becomes engrafment. In some respects, localized brain injury is much easier to repair than this illness.

Rest in peace all those that fought the good fight. I know multiple people who lost their lives to als. Everyone a sad loss to their family.
