Sam Waterston is leaving Law & Order

That damn show is still f------ on?
The old shows are much better than the new ones. Characters, dialogue, plots - everything. Oh, and female ADA's.

I agree. All those ADAs were smokin' hot. I only ever saw the show when it was in syndication. I quit watching when they brought in that blonde chick who acts like she's in a jr high drama club play. Just terrible. So wooden, and I'm talking about her performance, not anything else.

He was great in The Killing Fields.

Wish they would make an updated version of that movie considering there is an entirely new generation that has no knowledge at all of the Khmer Rouge and the genocide of Cambodia.

I recently read an article in the Economist about Cambodia. A quarter of the population was killed by the Khmer Rouge, and the effects on education and economic development are still being felt in the areas most targeted.
The movie was chilling.

Much less demand for optometrists and corrective lenses, though!

Lenny and Det Greene were the best detective duo, ever! Briscoe was very good with Det Curtis but Briscoe and Greene were tops! Most of the 2nd chairs were very good , too….Jamie Ross in a close one there…Lt. Van Buren is pretty believable, too.

Each episode used to be ‘ripped from the headlines’ but now it’s just stupid made-up stories.

It was shut down for 10 or so years, then revived a couple of years ago.
That makes sense. I had no idea it was revived. But in fairness, I don’t think I’ve watched network television in probably 10 years.
