The Ava Jones thread had discussion on medical hardships impact on scholarship limits. Thought it would be best to have additional discussion on another thread. With the advent of NILs, scholarship limits will potentially have a reduced impact. Will the NCAA have any power to limit "walk-ons" from having an equivalent full ride scholarship and more with NIL dollars. For example in the potential Ava Jones situation, her education could be paid via NIL and not scholarship; therefore, it would not impact scholarship limits. Also, schools will not have to worry about transfers or over recruiting freshmen impacting their scholarship limits due to being paid by NIL funds. The true impact could be the most powerful schools will be get stronger and dominate the future playoffs. Off base or not?
