School book in public school. This is unacceptable.

So this was a book in a high school library? Not an elementary school?

What's the outage? You don't think high school kids know about (or are actively practicing) sex? How horrible to have a book (not a required reading) providing a reasonable source of information for things a teenager might not want to talk to their prude parents about.

The father told Fox News that he yanked his kids from the district's schools, and currently homeschool them.

I'm sure this won't f*ck them up more than a book on searching for porn.
It's also a book on how to fluff your cock and tits correctly before sending pics of them to strangers.

It's the long game. Normalize sex conversations with children, slowly lose grasp of what a minor is, and whammy why can't we have sex with kids? They want to explore their sexuality also.

( I'm being wayyyyy over the top but you gotta admit it's ****ing weird how often the progressives want to talk with children about sex)
This is how an actual pervert thinks. They are all just projecting. They have these thoughts going through their mind and think everyone else has the same thoughts as they do.

If accurately described, the section offering tips on how to send naked pictures to your peers is not good. Sure, it might encourage discussion with your teen on why that is a terrible, potentially life changing, horrendous idea but it could also result in federal criminal charges for creating, disseminating and/or possession child pornography. Far too much risk for very little benefit in my mind.

Were not talking about Wyoming, are we?

But the preface is from Bret Favre.

So it sounds like this is a book in the library of a school. The way this was worded was that it was a "school book" being taught in class. You know, as part of the evil liberal grooming agenda or something to that effect. "Class, this is how you use porn; please turn to page 69".

Was the library in question in an elementary, middle, or high school? Or all of the above? The article referred to kindergarten and first grade but not directly in reference to this specific book.

This goes beyond simple information on sex and provides moral guidance that should really be left to the parents.
I'm ok with factual information on contraceptives and birth control. When you start telling teens that porn is ok, sexting is ok. That's something I have a problem with.

Especially when you consider that it is ILLEGAL to show minors pornography. I'm not saying that many of them won't go find it themselves if they want to since we seem to have very little control of access. But maybe don't tell teens what is ok and what is not ok and let parents provide moral guidance when it comes to sex.

Does it matter. . . that doesn't seem to me like a book that should even be in a high school library for the reasons I've outlined.

I haven't read the book and only have the excerpts which I will agree do not sound appropriate for a high school library. However, the book being in the library is a far cry from being taught or pushed as part of some sort of twisted groomer agenda.

I agree with you there. I don't think there is some sort of left wing groomer agenda.

And in high school libraries where sex is a minor part of the story or books which give factual information on sex and contraceptives I think that is fine.

What I don't think is fine is books which give teens moral advice on sex related topics. Especially when it advises teens to do something that they are not legally even suppose to be doing. Legally speaking you arn't suppose to be accessing porn until you are 18, however for some reason we have decided to not actually put in place any system to control or prevent under-aged access. I actually think what Louisiana did was a good first step.

Can a minor purchase a firearm?
You are an idiot.

Reviews on Amazon are funny in that most the people outraged by it didn’t actually read/purchase the book and are upset most that it says being gay is ok. Lots of “groomer” comments from the non readers. Looks like nearly everyone who did buy it gave it four stars.
But hey, let’s pretend teens stopped having sex after we graduated.
