@Scruddy - you truly are a HORT character and worth knowing more about IMHO. A quick review of your posting history over the last week shows you logging on daily around 7-7:30AM. You post or react to posts multiple times per hour - for pretty much every hour - until around 10-11pm. The only things you seem to participate in are political threads on HORT, didn't see a single comment or reaction to anything sports related. The only significant break that I could see in the last week was at around 5:00pm on Sunday, assuming even you may have known the SuperBowl was going on?

Inquiring minds want to know. What's your story, bub? Are you self employed so you have all this free time on your hands? Independently wealthy? Retired? What hobbies do you have - I think you like time pieces? Any other interests outside of politics? What drives you to spend a good portion of your waking day at a minimum just liking a few things, at a maximum fully engaging for hours? If you do have other interests, how on earth do you balance those with so much engagement on HORT? I honestly don't know how you stay so engaged and focused on HORT and am curious how you do it.

That's a poster that I'm hoping is a Russian troll. If not, what a sorry excuse for a life he has, only slightly below H4AD.

He was honest that it was a certificate course only. He thinks those are cooler than they are. I am confident that certificate is hanging right next to his Big Mouth Billy Bass “The Singing Sensation”.

I must have missed that. In my defense I only see him when I show hidden content.

I have two singing bass and a singing trout so I take great offense to this.

matty,

It's good to see you back on HROT. It's been quite a while since early November. I hope things are going well.
Oh, my old "friend" 🙄 Northern. Yeah, it was best to take some time away from this site as I knew what kind of gloating, right wing cesspool it would be for a bit.

So glad to be back to see I wasn't wrong. Needless to say, I didn't miss you, buddy but so glad you're here delivering the same sh!t posts we've come accustomed to, all the while constantly deflecting. Never change, Northern.

I do not believe the bot been trained to associate 'Scrudster' with his given name of Scruddy, and will therefore skip over this thread.

Oh come on matty, just a little heaping of schadenfreude.

I'm still, sadly, confident Trump wins Iowa.

However, the schadenfreude of watching the MAGA nuts like @Phenomenally Frantastic @IAFB2021Champs and @NorthernHawkeye reacting to this poll is absolutely glorious to see.

Happy to oblige.

I am a harvard educated rocket scientist of sorts. I specialize in mechanical process systems and did quite a bit of work with the government, especially the DoD with jet fuel systems and some other things. I also did some work with spacex and have experience in water systems (reverse osmosis, desalination, etc). I was competing for a leadership position at my past company but wasn't impressed with the prospects of working 60 hours a week for the pay they were talking about so I jumped ship instead and landed a great gig that is incredibly easy for my skill set and only requires 10 to 20 hours of work a week (unless I am travelling) for 85% the salary of the other gig. This allows me time to hang out with you guys!

If you dont believe that narrative then assume I'm being paid by elon musk to promote the agenda on social :)

I hang out on the wrestling forum btw and may go to the ok state dual coming up. If not then I will for sure be at ncaas watching the hawks. I'm also probably low key the toughest person on off topic ;)

Nice. I know a few guys that worked on the Mars Rover. You do anything with that? A couple of them now independently “work” and have a lot of free time as well.

Jealous of my setup

Bad take again. Yikes!

No, I had nothing to do with that. My government work was mostly focused on jet fuel, av gas and embassy generators. The spaxex stuff came later and had more to do with super pure water systems.

The Okie State dual could be a good one. If Iowa can’t catch PSU I hope the Cowboys do.

Keep up your good fight Scruddy

OK state and Iowa could join teams and still possibly lose to penn state this year unfortunately. The winner of that dual is the clear #2 in the country though for duals imo (unless minny somehow pulls some shenanigans this friday). I'm hopeful that David Taylor going to ok state can stop the psu lock on blue chip recruits a little bit

Interesting. Seems like a big swing in disciplines.

So what draws you to engage so fully with HORT and specifically politics?

Oh, playing games with the posters here on politics is incredibly entertaining. I mostly act as a mirror/counter balance to the far lefties on here and a good number of my posts are literally just mirrored versions of other threads that already exist from team blue. My politics are that I mostly hate the federal government and believe both parties have had bad actors since long before I was born.

I see. Well, your commitment to the craft day in day out is….probably different things to different people!

Your HORT born on date is March 18, 2021. What hobbies did you do before you found this one to occupy your time? Do you still do them?

You know, I'm not a fan of your posting style, but I can at least respect your honesty. I think it would benefit all of humanity if we actually saw people for who they were away from politics and message board arguments.

I think the less we know about each other the better

Your ass should be a ghost if you didn't welch on your bet.

Instead we're stuck with a 30 something bachelor, living in the QC, who's an average sports better, and probably drinks and does drugs way more than he should for his age.

You missed the ship bro!
