I have not heard anything official since the whole kerfuffle broke. He's obviously out right now with a serious elbow injury, but I think everyone is just in wait and see mode to see if he'll be back for March.
On FRL last week Pyles or Spey said they reached out to one of the Lehigh coaches and they were also told it’s a wait and see situation. That is why he’s still in Flo’s rankings.

Serious question: Iowa St seems to have had quite a few issues with kids coming in and having “party” issues. I’ve never been to Ames, but I’ve been to Tempe. Ahem, I’m shocked the sun devils have the strength and willpower to power through a D-1 wrestling season. Iowa St doesn’t strike me as being a party school, am I wrong?

Now you see, this is why I come here. Never heard of this, looked it up and went down an hour long rabbit hole of depravity. Ames wasn’t f*ckin around back in the day! Party for a week till riots break out apparently. Swiderski and Carroll missed out by 10 years.
It got crazy toward the end. We went to friends’ gig at Dugan’s Deli, WAY off campus and got pulled over by campus security miles from campus after the show. Veisha was coming up and they started cracking down hard. Nothing came from that traffic stop but I remember those security clowns getting rude as hell with us.
A buddy of mine rode to Ames from Fort Dodge with the stabber.
