Let me tell you, folks, the Secret Service—these are the best of the best, total professionals. Early Sunday, right near the White House, they handled a very dangerous situation. A guy with a firearm—bad news—was shot and injured by our incredible agents. The Secret Service put out a statement, very strong.

Turns out, local police had already warned them on Saturday—said this guy might be coming from Indiana, wasn’t in a good place, possibly suicidal. And sure enough, our brilliant Secret Service found his car, right near 17th and F, close to the Eisenhower Executive Office Building. Very close to the White House.

They also spotted him on foot—matched the description. And when they approached, he pulled out a gun. Bad move. There was an armed confrontation, shots fired—our guys did what they had to do. The man was taken to a hospital, don’t know his condition.

But here’s the thing—no Secret Service personnel were hurt. That’s because they are highly trained, the best anywhere in the world. This is why we support law enforcement, why we have to keep them strong. If they weren’t there, who knows what could have happened? But they were, and they handled it perfectly.

Weird post. Like it was written by a third grader or something.
