Not only was he referred to as a thug, one of his less than complimentary nicknames was "Street Thug". But this was before everyone jumped straight to the word racism to explain EVERYTHING...so you may not recall it.

Words develop connotations and meanings beyond their definition. Most adults understand this.
Actually, words do not develop connotations on their own...some people develop connotations that stray from any traditional meaning or definition of a simple word. People that almost always bring their own biases and agendas into the equation and then distort an honest understanding of any given word or situation.
Many adults are sick of some people continually twisting words into something that was never the case and then using that manufactured offense to then scold others.
This is dumb. Thug isn't a slur, but over the years it has picked up a connotation. Does that mean every person that has ever used it is a secret racist that used thug as a substitute for something else- of course not.
Calling the word thug a racial slur is some of the most racist crap I’ve ever heard. You are basically saying the only people in your mind that can be thugs are minorities. It’s like saying voter ID laws are racist. Those people must think minorities are unable to obtain IDs. Again social justice warriors trying to be overly woke are actually the most racist ones in these situations.

Agree 100%.....and can we PLEASE remove the political message off of the back of the uniforms....2020 has been played out....we get it....love each other...all it does is draw attention and scream "look at us"....is it there to stay forever like ANF??? BTW, I've seen messages on NO OTHER teams uniforms this season other than us....aka Berkeley East.

I watched it 3 more times and he absolutely pushes Frans hands off of him. I will stick to my comment that Cmac could learn a thing or two from how JT handled it. I also think Connor is going to get some attention from the refs if he wants to keep arguing with them from the bench. He's not a coach and hopefully never is for Iowa.
He doesn’t. Fran’s hand is down by his own leg and making no attempt (at this point) to stop Connor from anything. I believe what you saw is bad timing as Connor’s hand moves well before Fran’s does.
A few seconds earlier than this, Fran came up to Connor and put both hands on him to stop him from going any farther. Connor didn’t react to that in the least other than stopping.

You're obviously the biased one. He clearly swats Frands hands off him. And yes he has argued with officials from the bench on more than 1 occasion. I didn't see him do it last night but thankfully he had little involvement in this game. The less the better for the team. You can make up things that he does or doesn't do while I will stick to the facts.
