Sheryl Swoopes (and other Crazy Women) with some incredible takes

To me - the only real area I see for her to improve upon is to stop the bitching and moaning to officials. Some is expected and certainly fine, but she goes way past that quite often. Otherwise, she is a fierce competitor and I completely enjoy her "red ass" approach to the game.
I agree that she pushes the envelope too far sometimes with the "So-called" officials. However, how often do you see Sides go to bat for her? Crickets. If Sides showed a little backbone, she'd get in the ref's ear like the Dallas coach does. I know Clark needs to improve on restraint. You have a coach that tells reporters in the post-game that she (Clark) needs to work on controlling herself. Sides doesn't challenge the officiating and stick up for her players, and holds herself to zero accountability, and explains how much "They" have to improve. Improvement starts with you, Coach.

I totally agree. Sides needs to get in the refs ear once and a while. She needs to question some of their calls. Maybe she would get the next one in her favor. Coaches do this all the time

I get that's the perception.......but truth is it's not necessary. And that's not even coming from a right or wrong or "if you ain't etc etc you ain't trying" way of thinking.
Nothing I liked better than coaching against someone who didn’t work the officials because I knew I was going to get a lot of calls.

And my team still ended up winning because we outcoached you and had better players.

You might've liked getting more calls, but I found winning to be more satisfying. ;)

Never hurts to get more calls than your opponent. Many times it can make the difference between a win or a loss. And I find that especially true in the WNBA where the officials give the lean to certain players and coaches quite frequently.
