Sheryl Swoopes (and other Crazy Women) with some incredible takes

Yep.

At least she’s a consistent idiot.

Enjoyed C Mac’s response when she was officially awarded the ROY. “DUH”

I have a solution for Sheryl Swoopes to use to get people to stop saying she hates Caitlin Clark. It is radical, but I think it just may work if she follows the plan to the end.

Step 1: Stop hating Caitlin Clark

I think that will do it.
And maybe, just maybe, say something nice about Clark without throwing in some qualifier or added extra that destroys the compliment.

Watch at least the first 6 minutes. You can't make this shit up.

You can tell they are not happy she got the award. However not much negative they can say about it. Gilbert was really struggling with his loafs of bread comment LOL, basically saying they don't think she deserves all the attention she has gotten, compared to other players ect, but if it will give more to all the other players then its definitely worth it.

His loaves of bread commentary was the most cogent aspect of that clip. The smug disbelieving face of Swoopes after reading Caitlin's quote about white privilege had me regretting giving them a click/view.

Its cogent, but its also of both his and specifically Swopes mentality. They don't like the attention, money, fame ect that she has gotten. They think they should have just as many loaves as her. At worse they will take a piece from her loaves, (they want a whole piece LOL), and glad that they are getting more than before, but they still overall resent that she is getting more. What he is struggling with, is trying to hide the disdain and frustration for what they have not gotten, which is funny considering he is worth 160 million.

They currently have her net worth at $4 million but my guess is it is much higher than that. Maybe $20 million or higher.

Let it go, people. Caitlin's not pissed at them and they aren't pissed at her. This is all going on in your heads and on your keyboards.

Bullshit. You clearly didn't watch the video.

At the 38 second mark (!!!) Sheryl said she was curious who the other candidates were and what the criteria were (maybe she should have read the Time article before this podcast).

Then the guy at the computer said that in the Time article Caitlin, among other things, acknowledged her white privilege and that the league has been built on black players and that companies should invest in those black players. When he asked for everyone's reaction, Gilbert said "she has a great marketing team." When he asked Sheryl for her reaction, Sheryl sat there with a smug look on her face, her lips pursed and did not say a word. The guy at the computer then said, "ok."

My take, Swoopes was a great basketball player and is a horrible person...."Swoopes, there it is"
She is a horrible person and continues to prove it still today -

Former Loyola player felt 'humiliated, belittled' by Sheryl Swoopes

A former player of Loyola Chicago women's basketball coach Sheryl Swoopes said she was the victim of "emotional abuse" by the Hall of Fame player.

"I was humiliated, belittled," Cate Soane said Wednesday. "I was subject to a lot of inappropriate conduct."

Swoopes is under investigation by the university following complaints and a mass exodus of players from the program. Ten of the team's 12 returning players have transferred or put in requests to be released from their scholarships. Five players transferred after the 2014-15 season.

Soane, who left the team after the 2013-14 season, said Swoopes created a hostile environment around the team and routinely threatened to cut players from the roster or have their scholarships scrapped. She said the coach also mocked her and accused her of being disloyal.

You are entitled to your opinion, but CC clearly disagrees with you and wants you to let it go. Are you her fans or not?

CC took the DEI pledge but it will never be enough.

Sheryl will never be satisfied with what Caitlin has to say.

Caitlin, at the awards dinner, elaborated on one of her most discussed quotes from her TIME interview.
