The quote came from this morning meaning Iowa is at this point somewhere in the top 19 on the seed list.

After Nebraska the remaining schedule is brutal. I see 4-3 at best and could live with 3-4.

The final record is likely between 19-22 wins.

I'm thinking 5 seed is best case and 7 to 8 on the low range. Hopefully at least a 6 to 7 for a better 2nd round matchup.

I was always very positive about this year. I saw CJ/Nunge in practice this offseason and knew both would be good.

Cook was good in some areas but had several liabilities. Moss was too streaky and also limited on defense.

I figured 22+ wins but that was before Nunge and Pat both went down.

I really didn’t know what to think....my wild guess was 18 wins before we started....before Nunge, before Patrick, before DePaul.....now I would guess that IF we stay healthy and IF fatigue isn’t a huge issue then 19 wins is a good guess...but more or less are possible.

If this team gets hot, then look out!
