Hopefully sweep all three. If you got the monthly package last time it will still work for this weekend games. It would be great if the bats get going and the bullpen can get on track.

Sounds like Padgett quit the team. He got hurt again and was tired of always being hurt. I liked that guy, good size and good bat. Wish him the best. Good to see Jenkins in that video. He must be feeling better.

Just a FYI. This is WMU’s second game of the day. They beat Army 8-6 earlier today. And ... Logan Smith started the game for Army and threw 7 innings. Iowa won’t be seeing him on Sunday.

Excellent start as Iowa leads 4-0 after 1. Last two batters K’d, wish they could have got that 5th run in. Won’t complain too much though as they got guys on and put that crooked number up. It’s what you want. Too many times when you let a guy off the hook by scoring one or none then they settle down and cruise for six or seven. I don’t think that will be 5e case as he threw 36 pitches. Now just hope Judkins and the defense are dialed in.
