Big positive for me today is seeing Baumann and Probst pitch outs. Probst did walk one in the 9th.
Still very early in the year and a lot can and will happen. I am starting to become very optimistic. This is the exact way you want to see them come out after last weekend. Hellers best teams have been dangerous offensively and so far they are. There will definitely be some downs as any season. Just win more than you lose!
It’s getting late but if we keep them at 5 the rest of the way I like our chances. You would think Hoffman would get the 8th and Leonard the 9th. Drew Irvine pitched very well today. Time to rally!

-Army has taken games from Duke and Campbell
-Army played Texas A&M tough last weekend
-Army had not played well this weekend
Iowa has played really well and had all later games then turned around for the sleep AM start. The crazy part to me is that this one loss to Army drops Iowa to 42 in the RPI. One neutral loss and Iowa’s last four wins are wiped away. That shows the RPI in baseball is flawed.
The good news is that it’s very early and road games @ Northridge and Mizzou can make up for all that.
Like I said yesterday I expect some down moments with the good.
