Agreed. I would think as part of the interview process, the new brass would ask each prospective coach about style of offense, how they would use Caitlin, etc. The fever is not going to take Secretariat and hitch her to a plow.
I only watch Caitlin Clark, the rest of the league is not worth watching. Worst run organization on the planet.
Not even sure she’s going to be the Fever’s coach….apparently she’s talking to the Sky.
Number one prize I think is Sabally, if they can do some kind of sign and trade or otherwise get her out from underneath of being "cored". Who knows, White might bring some Sun vets with her like Brionna Jones, Alyssa Thomas, or Dewanna Bonner. Or maybe they can ship Smith off to the Sun so she can play with Carrington, in return for Mabrey. Lots of possibilities.

Power Forward is a glaring need. We basically don’t have one. There’s no way they’re bringing back Smith after this past season. Thomas of course is a beast and would be huge. But I wonder if her and Bonner are a package deal as a couple? I’m with you in that Sabally is my number 1. And we also need another shooting guard.
Mabrey is a great player from the few times I watched.
Her trade from Chicago alone should have been enough to fire Weatherspoon if Weatherspoon chose to play favorites in Chicago.
Not sure I see Thomas and Clark playing together. Both are ball dominant players and Thomas really has little value as a scorer off the ball because she can't shoot outside the lane with her two bad shoulders. Clark thrives way more with the ball. Not sure adding Bonner in her 16th year is really a great idea either. I'd agree a P4 is the biggest need and Mabry at guard would be solid..

the great thing is I now have complete faith that the front office and coach are going to maximize leverage to put the best team together, and I believe there are some top end players who want to play with Caitlin. It’s fun to predict it all though. Kia nurse would be a good fit.
