As a woman I do appreciate your POV but as an old school feminist I am in the camp of both men and women are capable of sexual misconduct.
About 60% of married men commit adultery and there are many women choose to engage in sex as a useful tool in achieving a goal.
If it’s wrong for a man to commit adultery (many times with a woman who is also married) then it’s wrong for the woman to use sexual favors to achieve her goals.
In these situations why are women given a pass yet men are not?
Are women helpless victims? Incapable of choices?
I’m not saying Orange Man is not a creepy horndog. But he has a LOT of company.
And VP Harris has made - by all accounts - certain choices as well. They were apparently successful, right?
I think the widely known and often told information about her affair with her (at the time) married “mentor” and how it helped her advance are the details - which I’m sure you already know as well.
Because I don't want to argue about why "heels up Harris" is sexist because of the special hypocrisy today. It's been 8 years, nobody cares
I know she had a relationship 20 something years ago and conservatives spin it into something sinister. The relationship was public and Brown was separated from his wife.
Just add some assumptions based on internal beliefs and a few knowing winks to the story and you have yourself a narrative.
[I just can't fathom a woman being shrewd enough of a career POS to succeed as a prosecutor or for whom sex is anything but a transactional situation whereby you get men to provide for you one way or another]
And you can apply that to many situations involving both sexes, which was my point.
