I'm gonna be honest, I don't really care about him playing this week. Rather have him set to go Thursday/Friday
Driving to the basket is literally Toussaint’s game and strength
He averages 13.2 points/40 minutes which is more than Fredrick and 1 less than Bohannon/PMac.Scoring 2 points. game isn’t really a strength.
Craptastic stats here.He averages 13.2 points/40 minutes which is more than Fredrick and 1 less than Bohannon/PMac.
And I doubt that Joe’s A/40 is the highest on the team by nearly 2 because of his full court passes to Patrick
Michigan has looked pretty human lately losing two out of three. Illini I could see but lost to MSU as well. I strongly believe if Michigan had played the full schedule like everyone else they'd have at least 1 or 2 more losses. Just saying........
You need to watch sports more often if you've never heard of BYU.
Yep, and CJ can take it into the lane and score. I wish he would do it more.Driving to the basket is literally Toussaint’s game and strength
The numbers are correct and I just confirmed them by hand. If you want to check yourself, they are basic proportion equationsYour numbers appear off.
If the doctors clear him and he can play with pain (if applicable), then Joe will want to play.I'm gonna be honest, I don't really care about him playing this week. Rather have him set to go Thursday/Friday
Anytime you try to tell me that Joe T compares scoring wise to JoBo, I know you are fudging things for your own ends. The numbers are correct and I just confirmed them by hand. If you want to check yourself, they are basic proportion equations
Nice to see everybody in sneakers and no boots.
Is coach using a cane?

what's funny is I saw the cane and thought, Why is Joe using a cane??? NOW what??I think hewas holding it for Joe.
Joe averages 3.8 points in 11.5 minutes per game. Jordan averages 10.5 points in 29.2 minutes per game.Anytime you try to tell me that Joe T compares scoring wise to JoBo, I know you are fudging things for your own ends.

I realize this. Again, look at the post I was responding to. All I’m saying is that Toussaint being a “2 ppg” scorer isn’t representative of his actual scoring output, understanding that he hasn’t been particularly efficientHe also takes 43% more shots per 40 minutes than CJ.
Not sure if serious.Joe using a cane might tell us all we need to know about today's game.
I saw Joe riding around IC on a moped. He will be playing by midseason.A friend of mine saw Joe at The Cane Store last night when they closed.
Look closer - the cane is not in his hand.Joe using a cane might tell us all we need to know about today's game.
I don't think people have "something against" Joe T, as much as they are tired of the constant "he needs to play more" crowd. He is playing at a level that he is having moderate success and at times, excellent play. I believe it is the Peter Principle that says - people rise to their level of incompetence. Let the coaches hand out playing time because they know better than we. More time on the court and it just may expose Joe a little too much at this point. And as far as statistics proving a point, anyone with a level of intelligence, which I believe you have, can make an argument out of most anything.I realize this. I looked him up - he is Al Seibert - director of basketball and been on staff for 10 years. I had never seen him anywhere before this shot.Nice to see everybody in sneakers and no boots.

He was seen with a walker earlier, so cane could have been in his handLook closer - the cane is not in his hand.
I am going to assume sarcasm. I hope anyway. He was seen with a walker earlier, so cane could have been in his hand
This, and Iowa can’t stop teams with decent guards from driving the lane whenever they want.this the problem with iowa, no real good drivers. if 3's are not falling theywill still get 25 from luka but not enough. Illinois has 3 guys that drive like crazy. it wins games consistently.

I don't believe I am accusing you of anything. And when I refer to the people wanting to see JT gets more minutes crowd, I am not referring to just this thread. This is a post of mine from Wednesday:
“Bohannon’s actually been playing really solid defense the past few weeks since Iowa has gone to man which, given that it has always been his biggest weakness and that he’s less prone to mental mistakes, has made him the obvious choice to continue logging the majority of the minutes at point (imo)”
Nobody in this thread has been clamoring for additional minutes for Toussaint either, but BBHawk (who was the only person I was referring to) still goes out of his way to dog him every chance he gets.
Lastly, if people want to refute my arguments with better, more convincing statistics, then I welcome that kind of conversation and am more than willing to acknowledge that I may be off base if a convincing argument is made. Calling my stats fake or denying basic math isn’t the answer however
