Anytime you try to tell me that Joe T compares scoring wise to JoBo, I know you are fudging things for your own ends.

... but you can’t force them to contribute to the conversation. That’s how it goes, right? You can lead a horse to water, but...
it is fakeAnyone have the down low? Someone said they heard he’s Out but I’m hoping that’s fake news....
This is a post of mine from Wednesday:
“Bohannon’s actually been playing really solid defense the past few weeks since Iowa has gone to man which, given that it has always been his biggest weakness and that he’s less prone to mental mistakes, has made him the obvious choice to continue logging the majority of the minutes at point (imo)”
Nobody in this thread has been clamoring for additional minutes for Toussaint either, but BBHawk (who was the only person I was referring to) still goes out of his way to dog him every chance he gets.
Lastly, if people want to refute my arguments with better, more convincing statistics, then I welcome that kind of conversation and am more than willing to acknowledge that I may be off base if a convincing argument is made. Calling my stats fake or denying basic math isn’t the answer however
Umm the coach has a brace on his left leg.Nice to see everybody in sneakers and no boots.
Is coach using a cane?

Just because I look at all his stats for his position doesn't make it wrong. Joe T is a pg shooting an abysmal % so I don't think his scoring is something you should highlight but you chose to go there. He shooting 20% from the 3, 42% overall and 61% for FTs. His assist/turnover ratio is 1.7. Those are stats that don't scream ""play me more!" to me but apparently they do to you.Joe averages 3.8 points in 11.5 minutes per game. Jordan averages 10.5 points in 29.2 minutes per game.
3.8/11.5=x/40 40 * 3.8 / 11.5 = 13.21 points per 40 minutes for Toussaint
10.5/29.2=x/40 40 * 10.5 / 29.2 = 14.38 points per game for Bohannon
I realize that you take stats like these with a grain of salt and wasn’t trying to make some grandiose point that Toussaint is as good of a scorer as Bohannon. Bohannon is substantially more efficient and shares the floor with Wieskamp and Garza who are high volume scorers. I wasn’t knocking him. My point was that Toussaint isn’t some inept scorer like the post I was responding to claimed
I don’t know what you have against Toussaint, as you go out of the way to knock him at every turn, but it’s unbecoming
The post I originally responded to claimed that none of our players have the ability to drive into the lane. This has nothing to do with PGs and who should get more minutes, so I was never making that argument. But you knew that. I only brought up Bohannon, Fredrick, and PMac as references (the closest players in Pts/40) to show that Toussaint is (inefficiently) holding his own in terms of scoring output. That was the only argument being made. The only one.Just because I look at all his stats for his position doesn't make it wrong. Others have already posted his +-, not going to go there. But I think that regardless of how he has done so far, he has the potential to be much better. I think with Ulis to push him that he will clean up his game and become more consistently good. Otherwise Ulis will pass him in the rotation. Ulis is that good.

That lack of efficiency reference was missing before. The post I originally responded to claimed that none of our players have the ability to drive into the lane. Nice. I can see from your spelling skills that you went to high school in IL.Down goes iowee
I didn’t think I needed to qualify my stat because we all know that Toussaint isn’t shooting a high percentage. But whateverThat lack of efficiency reference was missing before.
