Every channel on TV now has a scroll going on all the time. News, weather, info. Watch ESPN/ESPN2?ESPNU/ESPNNEWS...all scrolls all the time. So what if they add the lines to the games info. Is that really going to bother you?
So will we have to endure constant scrolling point spreads and over/unders now?

Gambling is already embedded in sports (3% Vegas; 97% off-shore and international), so nothing really new here.
Sports gambling is entertainment. You watch sports, and "enjoy it as an escape in the evenings." They bet sports (or, consume alcohol, get high, enjoy sex, etc...) and "enjoy it as an escape in the evenings."
They're no different from you...you're just different from them!
