Soccer Fans - Christian Pulisic

Pews is a great player, full of talent...but sadly, brittle as crystal.

The injury thing is overplayed now. He hasn't had any real bad injury issues for a while now and has been at least as available if not more available than most of his teammates.

Kante and Kovacic have had far more injury problems as of recent. That has hurt because they are probably Chelsea's 2 best CM's. Jorginiho isn't bad but he's been an overrated player IMO.

Look at this top 5. Safe to say the USA has produced an elite tier talent…

I'd like to see him move to another team at this point in his career. He's wasting away at Chelsea not playing while most of our other American players are now starting in overseas leagues.

Came here to post that. USMNT fans are going to be watching a lot of Serie A on CBS Sports Network this season.
I would have liked to have seen him move to a mid table Premier League team just because I follow the Premier league more. However, this is a good move for him, big club, and he will play in the Champions League

Sounds like Musah maybe heading to Fulham so Fulhamerica will be back in full affect.

I’ve heard the argument made by pundits that Americans will embrace soccer when one of our own is a global star. Being mobbed by fans at a club like AC Milan is about as big as it gets.

He has to be a star on the pitch though. He was only a star on the pitch for a very brief time during the lockdown at Chelsea. Injured his hamstring and never showed that kind of consistent ability.

Also quite frankly while I think it's good for his career, him being in Serie A doesn't help. EPL is the biggest and best league in the world. For him to really be a star he needs to be a star in Serie A and use that as something to re-ignite interest from big EPL clubs.

I mean regardless he's still had the best pro-career of any American because he's played for the big clubs and won the Champions League.

He also never received consistent opportunities again after the injury. Hard to show consistent ability in limited chances. His per min numbers stacked up well with any other member of the squad over the time he was there. He just needs to be on the field more and this move allows that to happen. If he doesn't produce here he starts to run out of good options overseas.

Pulisic created a chance that turned into a goal (0:31) and scored a goal (0:58) in his competitive debut for AC Milan.

Also at 1:30 he had a great pass to Giroud which would have been a goal had it not been for a great save from the keeper.

It's interesting to hear the commentator in Italian.

After two excellent goals in his first two matches, Pulisic is getting the Serie A “star cam” treatment like they do for the biggest players in the most important matches. The feed following him is on CBS Sports Golazo!, free on Pluto and other platforms.

Glad Pulisic scored but credit for that goal goes only about 10% to him. The passing in the box was so crisp that Pulisic's mom could have buried that one.

Big credit to Giroud for that heads up pass. Most players in his position are thinking shoot, but he laid it off for a teammate with a better opportunity.
Yeah, that was definitely a team goal. Still, everyone involved needed to be in the right place and execute their part to make that goal happen. He deserves as much credit as everyone else involved in that play.

I think this move has proven that when given consistent minutes he’s able to be a productive player at a high level.
