Spencer with the 18-1 tech. He led 12-1 at the end of first and then he got the takedown and tilt in the second to finish it. I'm glad the match went longer than 52 seconds; he needs these second periods right now. Was also good to see him get to his high-c, but you can tell he really needs to get to his ties and tight in order for him to feel comfortable enough to attack, which is fine as he'll only get stronger and more confident. Kid probably has like 4-5 months of mat time since March 2021.
