Sould the WI game be at night?

How Iowa plays the first 3 games will be their "say".

3-0 and I will guarantee a night game right now.
2-1, 66% chance
1-2, 0% chance with a 100% chance of Beth Mowins @ 11 AM on ESPN 2

This is a very good point, but what I meant was this - let's say Iowa is 3-0 and doesn't want a night game (obviously this is just made up example, of course we want that game at night) would they have a say?

I don't know the answer to that, but I'm curious - does Iowa have a say in the time it's played?
I think Iowa can say what they prefer, it is far from the number one factor. But basically if Iowa prefers not to have the home night game in question. It may be the deciding factor if two games interest are really close. I truly believe we saw a lot of that in the Sally Mason era

I don't think the teams have much impact in who plays at night. But Iowa has been in favor of night games the last few years, and I would expect that to continue.

With the 12 day selection window coming into play more often, I doubt the teams' preferences mean much. They probably had an impact when all the night games were announced in April/May.

What other games, not just B1G, are on the schedule that weekend?

Let me rephrase that - WHAT OTHER IMPORTANT OR RELEVANT GAMES ARE ON THAT SATURDAY THAT WOULD BE WORTHWHILE OF PRIME TIME TV. That should remove almost all of those games.

Is it a slap in the face that Wisconsin, Michigan or Ohio State don't play Iowa at night in their home games?

THERE IS THE ENTIRE LIST, YOU CAN PICK OUT WHATEVER YOU DEEM IMPORTANT OR WORTHWHILE.

FWIW- Radio guys on 1480 in Lincoln said they think Nebraska v Michigan will be the Game Day destination as it’s the strongest game of the weekend that day.

Florida at Tennessee
A&M vs Bama
TCU vs Texas

Those are the other games that have some significance, besides our game. Besides Nebraska vs Michigan of course (trying to find a roll-your-eyes emoji, but couldn’t).

It wouldn't knock me over surprised if Nebraska at Michigan was the choice if both of those teams were 3-0. Gameday was last in Ann Arbor in 2015 for MSU-Michigan. They've done a couple of Michigan road games since then. ESPN likes them some Jimmy and Frost. I doubt undefeated Wisconsin-Iowa excites the Gameday crew, but who knows.

Is it a slap in the face that Wisconsin, Michigan or Ohio State don't play Iowa at night in their home games?
Not with respect to Wisconsin. Wisconsin's night game was it's NC opener (on Friday night) with Southern Utah. It would have preferred a night game with the Hawks or Michigan (which turned out to be a 11:00am Gameday start).
While Wisconsin @ Kinnick would be great, Dodger makes a valid point about NE/MI. TCU/TX is also a contender(Patterson/Herman).

Never.
Clemson at Georgia will get Gameday pick if they can.

I will not allow wisconsin to win in kinnick this year. Badgers will be bit with the turnover bug day or night. Cant win with four turnovers.

We played 2:30 at Wisconsin last year and it was damn cold. A night game in mid September sounds perfect to me!

We have only played at Michigan 5 times and at the Shoe 3 times in the 21st centuriy, so I wouldn’t get too butt hurt about night games or not.

Iowa should get to play those two more often. They currently are the team that knocked them out of the CFP.
