Sous vide steaks question??

Back to the initial question, it only takes an hour to cook an unfrozen steak. Just fire it up when you get home.

You’re welcome. It sounds like a lot of work but really it’s just a lot of time and your sous vide and pellet smoker will do 99% of the work. The only thing that’s personally time consuming is the final broil to crisp up the skin, making the gravies and cutting up the turkey properly. Everything else is just waiting on the sous vide and pellet smoker to do their jobs with essentially no oversight from you.

This thread inspired me to get the cheapest steaks I could at Fareway and do an 8 hour soak. I finished on the grill at inferno temps just to get cool grill lines and the steak turned out great. The fat turned out really great after all of that.
