So does Ohio State. MI and NEB played well. WI played like crap but still won.

Iowa ... exposed as a fraud. Should not be ranked in top 25. Should not take the field again until they are ready to play football. Still pissed at them for playing such a cowardly game.

The conference "traditional" powerhouses are Mich OSU PSU and Nebby.

MSU is making the case, based on continued success, of being so considered a Big 10 power.

All the teams mentioned above DONT settle for mediocrity. I hate Michigan State but damn do I envy them over the last 6 years. Dantonio doesnt settle for mediocrity and is one of the winningest coaches during that time. Iowa and KF is all about mediocre with a great season every 5 years or so. Complacency sucks......

So true.

I'm calling it. If MSU wins a NC in the next few years, it's solidified. We will continue to be in the middle of the pack (along with Wisky) and MSU will join the ranks of the top 5 and upper echelon of the conference.

They go out and play teams. They aren't afraid of an early season loss. MSU has built their program by winning this "big" games against ND and other Power 5 powerhouses. Meanwhile Iowa plays the FCS or little brother programs in the state.

KF and Barta have to wake up and start to schedule better opponents. Like I have said before, I will give up a "home" game and pay $$ to travel to see them play a "Decent" team at a neutral site. I will also accept a loss by 30+ to a "good" power 5 team. Instead of a crappy loss to a FCS team.

That was the point broski. Did it with 4 sophomore OL, two backup walk-on LBs, and only 6 seniors in the two deep. Two plug and play transfers next year too.

Wow, you beat a bad lsu team and barely squeaked by the powerful Georgia st. Impressive.

His point was that Wisconsin is middle of the pack and will continue to be middle of the pack. The past has not been middle of the pack and the future is definitely not looking like middle of the pack considering the youth that is contributing. That's not something many Iowa fans will claim about their team.

I have seen nothing to move you beyond middle of the pack right now. Iowa is top of the pack, you are middle right now. You barely squeaked by Georgia state today. Why are you here? Ndsu spanks Wisconsin today.

You're basing it on a small sample size. One year does not move Iowa to the top of the pack after several mediocre seasons and one year will not remove Wisconsin from there after several double digit win seasons. When Iowa consistently wins, they have earned that distinction.

You gotta be shitting me. What in the hell would make you type and post something so stupid and wrong? Maybe it was a joke. If not, please explain how Iowa is somehow above Wisky.

Pretty simple idiot. Iowa beat wisky last year. Until wisky beats Iowa, do I really need to explain this? Why are you idiots here after scraping by Georgia st.?

Iowa and Wisky are parallel right now with Wisky enjoying more recent success. Now let's not forget that Iowa had relatively recent success in the 90s-00s when Wisky was a struggling.

Well Wisky is similar to MSU regarding their recent (5-10 year) success. But MSU has a few NCs so they are not comparable to Iowa or Wisky.
Yes if we are talking full history, Iowa and Wisconsin are middle of the pack programs in the B1G, but recent history is what was being addressed.

By that line of logic, Purdue and Illinois are better programs than Nebraska...

Wisconsin had 3 B1G titles in the 90s and has the second most conference titles since PSU joined the conference. The 70s and 80s were when the program was shit.

Call me crazy, but I'd hold off the smack talk after Wisconsin shocks a Les Miles coached SEC power and holds on to put a W up in week two.

You know, after yesterday....

Wisconsin has been dominating the West (and Legends) for a long time and a couple flukes by Iowa and Nebraska don't change that until it's repeated- and a conference title would help both of those teams, too since Wisconsin has three in the last 10 years. Can't believe anyone would be so confused as to want to pick a fight over Wisconsin's record.

Is Wisconsin on Ohio State's level, curious as to what you think?.....I'm assuming you're a Badger fan.

No. Ohio State has won championships and several big bowl games. They have been to a BSC/CFP playoff game in 9 of the last 10 seasons. Wisconsin has failed to reach the NC game and has come up just short in our 3 biggest bowl games in recent history. OSU fields an elite team pretty much every year, while Wisconsin does not.
