Sparty vs Badgers

The scary thing is, when they are seeded that low, they usually go on a run and make the at least the elite 8. They rarely miss the sweet 16, but a couple of times they have been a lower seed and took it all the way to the elite 8.

I know they are going through their struggles, but they will get it figured it out and be a tough out come March.

You will have be excuse them. If they see anything other than "1. Kansas" in the bracket they assume it will be a team that won't get anywhere near the Final Four.

Izzo will figure it out by the end of the season. His team is obviously still a little shell-shocked with the realization that Iowa is better than they are.

Think Davis is a key player for them going forward but inconsistent. Can't believe he got 0 blocks vs WI. Yeah, only 19 minutes/4 fouls but in that amount of time on the floor he should make a bigger difference.

Wisky got their usual home cooking, but MSU is going to need to start defending without putting their hands on the defender. Zebras are calling it much more this year, and it is really hurting Sparty.

Regarding MSU they always make runs come tournament time, but that being said I will be surprised if they get to sweet sixteen this year. They are in a funk because they have no point guard. Even when Dum Dum is playing. He is the guard that said no to us and committed to MSU. After watching him play last year and against us this year, I'm glad he went to MSU.
I'll take CW all day long over him. MSU is out of the Big race when their bad loss to a 10-9 Wisconsin team.

The college game comes down to guard play. Iowa has two good guards.
Maryland has a great guard in Trimble.

In looking at Iowa's remaining schedule the only losses I see is at Maryland and at Michigan. We play IU twice. IU still relies too much on 3pt shot ala Michigan.
Bryant is definitely a upgrade for them at center. Their a good team that has played a weak schedule. Jury is still out on them. Even if we split with IU that puts us at 15-3 and that would win the Big this year.

This is a two horse race between Maryland and Iowa.

Right now, Iowa, Maryland and IU have to be the favorites, but there are a lot more potential losses than 3 remaining. After Rutgers, Purdon't is going to be another tough game. All of the road games, except maybe Rutgers, (Illannoy, IU, PSU, OSU, UM) are dangerous. I agree that 15-3 would win the B1G, and I hope that Iowa can finish that well.
