I'll give it to ESPN despite the fact Stanford lost to Oregon and was physically dominated by Northwestern they still love Stanford. I've never seen a team get hyped so much with 2 loses.

Also, whats up with the "good loss" argument all of a sudden in football. C'mon!

What else are they going to talk about this week? The top 6 was chalk basically.

Stanford and NC are truly the only stories they have to pimp this week. They didn't talk about any of the top 5 at all and really only discussed Ohio State, Stanford, and NC because really they are the only compelling stories as far as next week that could make a leap into the top 4.

Considering OSU isn't going to be a conference championship, and they are taking the committee at it's word, OSU drops out of the major discussion.

So, NC/Stanford.

They set it up for Stanford to make it first if there is an upset then OSU if there's 2 upsets. If B1G championship is within 7 or less then loser should stay ahead of OSU and go to Rose Bowl because MSU beat OSU and Iowa won division and went undefeated in regular season.

I love how Standford's loss to Northwestern is non-existent yet when they want to pimp Stanford's strength of schedule they are more than happy to mention an away game at Northwestern.

Stanford lost to a team that Iowa killed and got handled by a team that lost to Michigan State.. I'm with you, I don't see it..

ESPN needs a west coast interest to keep California paying attention.

I think they set it up to put OSU in if NC upsets Clemson. If Stanford was getting in they could have put them at 5 or 6 this week.

O$u will not jump far enough to get in. Their ONLY chance is for North Carolina to beat Clemson, USC to beat Stanford, and Florida to beat Alabama. At most, one of those things will happen.
If all those things happen, the final 4 will be Iowa/MSU, North Carolina, Oklahoma, and Ohio State.
