At what point is kicking a dead horse not fun anymore?
Its not good for us or the conference for it. I hope they do turn things around its not fun id rather beat good teams then play teams that are just down.
End of the year beating a losing husker team doesnt do allot for anyone.

The problem isn't that he's 0-5 in year 1, it would be if he was 3-2 in year 3.

Frost is seen as the second coming.... They will be very patient (relatively speaking and tolerant) and make excuses how their crap season, even if winless, was not his fault. He was left with a program in shambles and needs time to instill his athletes and culture, blah blah blah. If he is still stinking it up after three seasons, then Neb will have even more former coaches still on their payroll.

It actually does sound like a pretty good retirement plan.
