With all the discussion regarding players "camping" here and there, I wondered how this works. Do players need to get invited to camps? Can they sign up wherever they want? Do they have to pay for these camps? Is so, how much do they cost? Are the camps a "for profit" endeavor and if so, who gets the money generated from them? What happens at a summer camp? Who are the instructors and how much contact to coaches actually have with the campers? Are the camps 1 day affairs or multi-day events with lodging and meal costs involved?
I haven't been around the camp scene since attending a few back in the late 60's-early 70's and I'm sure the world has changed considerably since then.
