Summer school shooting ft's 101

Glancing at the Hawkeye free throws percentage found it interesting that four players were averaging over 80% from the line and every other player was averaging below 66.8%. Hopefully there will be a lot of practicing between now and next year. Since seeing my first game in 1946 this is my favorite team. I believe that with their returning players and our three new recruits they have the talent to be really special for the next several years, but during that time period there will be many games decided from the line. With practice I believe these young players can turn free throws into a strength. Remember woodie and how much he improved. Good luck tonight. GO HAWKS

Everyone's goal should be to shoot at least postville56's age from the FT line. I have a feeling we'd be pretty darned good.

Our bigs did not shoot free throws well again tonight and it cost us the game

Pemsel will be ok, but Wagner and Cook have a lot of work to do. But overall we shot 71% to Minny's 67%. 20 offensive RB and 14 blocks did us in, oh and the refs never acknowledged our timeout. A timeout that they should have been looking for.
