As a child in the 60's my parents put me in a car seat that hooked loosely over the back of the front bench seat. Had a little steering wheel and a horn on it,... Amazing that I survived.
Super 70s Sports and Pitching Ninja are the best things on Twitter. Effin’ Birds is up there also.

Doesn’t anybody ****ing knock anymore?
One thing I notice about the video...how spoiled we are with the camera work and video quality now.
I watch a ton of F1, they'll have slow motion close ups of cars going through corners where you can see a single piece of rubber the size of a dime coming off the tire. The above video was about as good as it gets for the 70s.
No matter how bad they were, they didn’t deserve to be grabbed by the p*ssy.
Funny thing is, Iowa State was up and Iowa was down in the late 70s. They had come off finishing the season ranked #19 in the country under future Ohio State head coach, Earle Bruce. They were again ranked #19 that day. That season we’d finish 5-6 while they were runners-up to Oklahoma in the Big 8 at 8-4, going to the Peach Bowl. Infamously though, wearing those jerseys in front of a national audience on ABC backfired for the ‘Clones:

I bring that up to Mo from time to time.......every year around game time....
