Switched back to Chrome from Firefox

I like firefox but it's memory usage just balloons after you start it. Yesterday it hit over 1GB, and that was the last straw. I switched back to Chrome, and it hasn't even hit 100MB's yet that I've seen. It used to be that chrome was the biggest memory hog there was.

Anybody have a similar experience? I upgraded to windows 10 two weeks ago.

Anybody use the Microsoft Edge browser?

No I use my phone for that because it vibrates. It actually seemed to get a lot worse when I came to this website, but was bad everywhere.

I don't ever seem to have Firefox issues, and in would resolve any issues to stay with the open source over the advertisement data farming browser. The only add-ons I use are ABP and Ghostery. Are you hitting the wall on your RAM? 1GB is kind of nothing by modern standards.

If you like the feel of chrome give chromium a try. It is open source and mainly used in linux systems but can also be used in Windows enviroments.
