I sent my son a text this morning saying the same thing. Especially todays games.I got to say, this is about the least interested I have ever been in college basketball this time of year.
Could this be the year that none of the #1 seeds make the final four? UNC is the sole survivor at this point.
It happened not long ago.

And they really didn't.The team that didn't belong in the tourney.
Meh, unless Villanova shoots 70% or better from everywhere against Oklahoma and nobody but Hield scores, that should be a good game. They're going to have to overload on the promos this week to try and make this final 4 compelling no matter who comes out of the North Carolina-Notre Dame game. Especially after last night's Villanova-Kansas game. It felt like to me that was the true national championship game.
And they really didn't.
Exactly. This team was 19-13 and didn't come into the tournament red hot or anything.
Another lesson to Fran and company that it's not how you start or perform in January, it's how you finish. Heck, it looked like Wisky was headed to the NIT when we were ranked #3, and they came a last-minute meltdown away from the Elite Eight. Don't want to hijack this thread, but I don't think it's an accident that the same teams seem to be hot in March year after year - that's a formula that I wish we could figure out.
