Never seen the show but my YT feed is inundated with clips.
Rip and Beth are the two dumbest characters I can think of in recent television history.
Taylor Sheridan.
Creator of Yellowstone, Lioness, Landman, etc.
He’s Gods gift to television watchers in his own mind.

I started this one, but it appears it is just an advertisement for the petroleum industry. It's too bad as I really like Billy Bob Thornton.
Which is weird because he’s tilting at windmills. The petroleum and nat gas industries aren’t going anywhere.
His choice to defend the industry when both parties want to increase production makes about as much sense as prime Angelina Jolie being all over him the way she was.
Why would anyone, anywhere on planet earth want to listen in on that conversation? 🤢
Because, like Walking Dead, the series started out really strong with great actors, sets and writing only to be driven into the dirt. ...some of us just hang on to hope, I guess.

I haven't gone back since the end of last season. Beth has to be the worst character in the history of television
100%. Never liked her character. The storylines around her and pretending she's tough is beyond annoying. She should be dead 2-3 times by now but can somehow survive a bomb going on in her office.

Writer/producer for Sicario, Yellowstone, Tulsa King, Wind River, and Hell or High Water. He also saved the Paramount Network when I used to work there. Without the sucess of Yellowstone, that network would have gone belly up.
Sicario and Hell or High Water are great so I give him credit there.
I thought Wind River was a really good movie too
It's because the show WAS really good and you feel like you need to finish it out.
No one is watching this show if this is how it started.
Not that difficult to understand.
I still haven't watched Hell or High Water I loved Sicario and thought Wind River were really good movies. Sheridan is a bit of a one trick pony though and I'm sure he will fade in the near future. When Paramount (Viacom/CBS) landed him, it was a giant win for the company as there were suitors lined up throwing money at him.
