That disappointing, Tadjo has a lot of upside and was the best athlete on the team. McCollum should be able to use a guy like him.I would think this would be an indication that McCollum told him he might want to explore other options.

Agree 100%I would think this would be an indication that McCollum told him he might want to explore other options.
Tadjo has more upside and 3 years of eligibility left. He will probably follow Fran.Or he saw the Drake forward enter the portal and put 2 and 2 together.
Probably need to be a pretty good student to follow Fran to Penn, unlike most other universities.Tadjo has more upside and 3 years of eligibility left. He will probably follow Fran.
Not to mention that Penn doesn't give out athletic scholarships and it costs over $90k per year to attend.Probably need to be a pretty good student to follow Fran to Penn, unlike most other universities.
How's his academics? Fran may not have to deal with the portal or NIL, but academics are high on Penn's list to enroll in an Ivy league school.Tadjo has more upside and 3 years osf eligibility left. He will probably follow Fran.
I was thinking the same BUT...if McCollum told him that I'll trust his judgement. That disappointing, Tadjo has a lot of upside and was the best athlete on the team. McCollum should be able to use a guy like him.
With 15 scholarships, McC can afford to keep a couple of players, who maybe aren't ready to play in his system, but could have big upside. Tadjo seems like one of those players. McC knows what he is doing. Right now he needs to get Iowa's best players back, along with the transfer from Miami, and maybe 1 or 2 of Fran's HS recruits. If he can get most of them, plus his best players from Drake, that will be a good base to build on. He then will know what other players he needs to find in the portal.
I think he's gone. Probably met with McCollum and it was agreed the portal was his best option.I was thinking the same BUT...if McCollum told him that I'll trust his judgement.
The man knows what he's doing.
Tadjo might be doing it just to explore his options and possibly up his NIL if he stays with Iowa.
Pretty much standard practice at the moment.
This will change going forwardWe don't get players as athletic as he was very often.
I'd agree. No doubt by now Bens done an assessment of the players still on the roster and their "fit" in his system.I would think this would be an indication that McCollum told him he might want to explore other options.
I would hope McCollum would love to have a guy as athletic as Tadjo and should be able to develop him into a heck of a player. He was a high 4* recruit with the kind of athleticism we rarely see. This is a loss for Iowa. I hope he can keep Traore.I was thinking the same BUT...if McCollum told him that I'll trust his judgement.

A lot of unknowns here.I would hope McCollum would love to have a guy as athletic as Tadjo and should be able to develop him into a heck of a player. He was a high 4* recruit with the kind of athleticism we rarely see. This is a loss for Iowa. I hope he can keep Traore.
Got skillzTadjo's best quality was the ability to foul several times in less than 3 minutes
