Nevada's early data makes Senate Democrats sweat
Democratic sources are increasingly worried that the Nevada Senate race has tightened significantly in its final days, Axios has learned.Why it matters: A surprise loss in Nevada would almost certainly mean that Democrats will lose their majority in the Senate next year.
- Republicans hold a rare early vote lead over Democrats, with the data showing a motivated GOP base in the state.
- Sen. Jacky Rosen (D-Nev.) held a polling lead for essentially the entire campaign.
- Nevada Republican Sam Brown, challenging Rosen, is trying to tie himself to former President Trump, hoping the top of the ticket will help him across the finish line.
- A PAC linked to Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) recently blitzed the state with over $6 million in new ads, with one commercial saying: "President Trump and Nevada need Sam Brown in the Senate."
- Around a third of Republicans in Clark County (the state's most populous) who voted on Election Day in 2020 have already voted early this year.
I wish we could think in terms of what’s good for the country. Unfortunately, that’s just not possible until the MAGA cancer is removed from us.

And, tbh, I don’t even recognize the Republican Party anymore. Yes, there have been so many “that should have ended things for Trump” moments in the last eight years, but Trump at a rally simulating pud whacking and fellatio on a mic and not a single Republican, especially the Jesus-y ones, saying this is a bridge too far was the final nail in the coffin for me that the GOP is completely unsalvageable. They are.
MAGA needs to be wiped out and a new Conservative party created in its ashes. The GOP is never coming back.

This is red wave pollster admitting he’s been cooking the numbers to favor Trump. My guess is he only adjusted about half way to reality.
This is what I love about Chis. MAGAts will sit here and say "oh he's just an extreme left wing crazy who needs to go away" No. He just points out the truth and says it like it is. MAGA is the issue with our country and once they go away a new conservative party can rise up and we can work together to create solutions that work for all of America. He recognized a long time ago MAGA was what was preventing that and I will always respect him for being so passionate about that
Truly all it's ever been about from me and thank you for recognizing that. I'm a moderate Independent until Trump came along. Never registered for a party until 2020 Election so I could caucus for Biden.
For sure. MAGAts just want to paint you that way because it makes them feel better about their extreme views. You don't have extreme views you are just passionate about our country moving forward successfully and that's not possible with MAGA in the way.

I get the feeling that Harris, and finally the Democratic Party, are ready to say "Enough of the bullshit" and actually deal with this. I don't think, "I don't want to waste time dealing with the corruption because it will make it harder to do these things!" is going to fly very far. Dealing with the corruption HAS to be a priority or we won't be done with this.
Eh...it's the way it is, it's the way it has always been, and it is the way it will always be. Even dictatorships and totalitarian socialist states have parties. Joining together with other people is the only way you can actually get anything done. But it certainly isn't without its issues.
Attacking the messenger is the only debate tactic they have because there is nothing in the Republican Party platform that they can back up with anything that is actually true. Even the immigration tactic was undermined by their own party's efforts to make sure nothing happened with immigration. Now it seems, they aren't even pretending. They are literally telling you the awful things they are going to do. One thing is for sure, if by some chance Trump does win no one should be surprised with what happens next.
I've been hearing rumors and since they come from X they HAVE to be true. Nobody lies on that.
I won’t be gloating ever after this election but if Harris wins and is sworn in without too many people getting killed I’ll have a big sigh of relief
