teams without 5 star athletes...never successful?

In response to Cowherds comments about us being a fraud because we have no 5 star athletes, here are two other fb teams without 5 star athletes in their 2 deeps: Patriots and Seahawks.

Good thread It shows how much development a player experiences AFTER he arrives on campus for many reasons.....heck, so many of these prospects play qb or rb on their hs teams and don't find their position until they get to college. I think Brandon Scherff was a qb in hs. Colin Cowherd is a sports shock jock who doesn't use actual research or intelligence with his opinions or predictions......he makes his money from pissing groups of people off (ask Jose Batista what he thinks of Cowherd, hehe).......D King is a good example of a less than 4 or 5 star athlete who is a resounding success........many others also as pointed out in the article you posted.....

Our football player development is easily one of the best in the nation. We tie Ohio State with the most players sent to th NFL, and they're recruiting has a plethora of 5 star recruits. It just goes to show those stars don't mean jack shit.
