As has been pointed out many times, this is a free rivals site that hawk fans choose to make outrageous comments about ISU on. I simply shine a light on such comments and let them speak for themselves. If you want to eliminate the posts by ISU folks callings out the ridiculous, then go out of pocket and pay the subscription......it really is quite simple.
I wouldn't count on Purdue winning the first game. That arkansas little rock team is dangerous because they have really good shooters and if they get hot it could be tough on Purdue. The Purdue Iowa State match up would be a great one. Contrasting styles. It reminds me of when ISU played Notre Dame a few years ago. Notre Dame had some bigs but they were plodding guys who didn't get up and down the court and ISU abused them. The issue though is that team was a better defensive rebounding team and the teams that ISU couldn't beat this year were WVU and Baylor two top 5 offensive rebounding teams in the country. I don't think Purdue is as good as those teams on the offensive glass but they are good and that would cause problems for ISU. I think it would be a heck of a game.
I keep seeing isu grads post that outrageous claims are made against isu but have yet to see them show us any.

So the impartial Naismith Committee is of course correct when they pick Uthoff over Niang, but the NCAA Tournament Committee is incorrect when they seed ISU higher than Iowa? Got it. When you say a committee is impartial it is, and when it isn't, it isn't.
What do isu grads do when they can't handle the truth, simple they ignore. I will be right again just watch.
Other than last year and 15 years ago, please list all the other quick exits. ISU has played at or above it's seed every other year. I'll wait.

I am saying the committee has already proven that they over seed the Texas Ten. They and the Texas Ten have proved it each of the past 5 plus years.
Can isu grad prove the Naismith Committee has gotten the semifinalist wrong each of the past 5 years and Naismith did it again when favoring Uthoff over the ball grabber?

I also said that if you can prove the Naismith Committee has wrongly created their semifinalist list each of the past 5 years then by all means bring that forth. I am more than happy to say they got it wrong for the sixth year. But don't tell us it is wrong prove it. isu grads are great at telling the world how things should be according to them but not so great when they are asked to back up their crap. That isn't playing fair.

What is isu's overall NCAA tourney record to this point in time? By the way you paint the picture, they certainly must be on the plus side of 0.500.
How many times has isu gone 'one and done' in the tournament? Does that mean that you are really touting the fact that isu was only in the dance with a seed higher than 7 (and we all know how terrible teams are that can only manage to be seeded 7th!)?
Check out the results from the 1993 tournament and report back on what you find out - seems like there was a particular team (8 seed) that lost first round. Guess it was more than two years of isu not meeting expectations.
Last one, I promise. Produce the list of every college basketball program that has a loss as both a #2 and #3 seed in its illustrious history.

Me, personally, seeding stuff is fluff talk. It all boils down to getting it done when it matters and honestly neither Iowa or Iowa State should puff their chests out too much. Uni has though. Says more than anything.
The past 5-6 tournaments have said the Texas Ten doesn't deserve high seeds. Unless it is always expected for high seeds to lose to lower seeds and the conference as a whole having a losing record.
Or should we ignore the last 5-6 years? You tell us which is correct.
