Teske and Nelson

Why are these guys not wrestling at fargo? Are they hurt, on vacation, just not wrestling, ect?

Brands didn't wrestle in junior duals so I am guessing he is hurt. Like I told someone else, there is no percentage in it for Teske. He has PSU, ISU, Iowa recruiting him, if he gets upset at Fargo, then the $$$ goes down. At least it's a theory.

A good working theory. I hope he isn't thinking that way though. A champion wants to break open your skull and piss in it. No time to count money with that mentality.

To some people, pissing on your brain is f*n. No?

I thought at ps it's never about the money. It's just wanting to be in their room and have f*n.

It's called the McCaffery effect and it explains why I quit going to work - I've got a great upside, why screw it up.

Not competing in Go Far (Fargo) lowers stock according too some. I see it as their last Free summer because these young men know what they want too do. :) jmo imo haze

I get it from a guy like Teasdale. He's won Fargo, so he can check that goal off. Surprised that a guy like Teske doesn't want to add that accomplishment to his list.

I look at guys like Clark and DSJ as examples. They were locked in for college and had absolutely nothing to prove by going to Fargo, but both wanted that stop sign so they went to Fargo after their senior year.

Teadale didn't wrestle UWW junior nationals or trials either. Added: It's not Teasdale's senior year. The "nothing to prove" thing doesn't really hold merit as he didn't exactly blow the competition out last year. He can wrestle to face some good competition at 126. I can see blowing it off after he graduates to get ready for college but these guys doing it in between their Junior and Senior year makes no sense...unless of course you go back to my original assertion that they don't want to get knocked off early and put a dent in their rep...either that or he has an injury.

So, you don't think Teske has more to prove by going to Fargo than Teasdale? OK.

I never used the words "nothing to prove" in regards to Teasdale, so not sure where you're getting that quote from.

My point was that some wrestlers (St. John, Clark) have winning Fargo as a major goal of theirs. Teasdale has checked that goal off and I can give him a pass for not attending. Teske has not checked that goal off and so I'm much more surprised he's not attending.

Cause that's exactly what I said

I think all of these guys should be wrestling in Fargo...how often do you get that chance to get matches in against the best? Unless of course they are training for a world team. I guess I look it as a way of getting better and keeping in good wrestling shape during the summer...not notches on the old belt. Teasdale isn't above wrestling in Fargo...neither is Teske. Say what you (not literally you Crablegs) want about Sasso but the dude wrestles everywhere. He is a mat rat.

he missed weight at us open.. or maybe it was junior trials

Yep, it was the open. He missed 55 kg for juniors and RBY wrestled at 57 kg for seniors. Then neither wrestled in the junior wtt. I was hoping to see them against Fix.
