The last few years, I doubted you and even recommended firing you. I won't lie and act like I didn't do that. I just want to say I'm sorry I doubted your efforts, and I want to thank you for your loyalty and standing by the side of Hawkeyeland through thick and thin, even though you could have taken other jobs. I didn't realize what I was taking for granted. I'm proud you are our coach, and I feel truly lucky Bob Bowlsby hired you. Thank you to your family, too.
