That was a terrible call against Sparty

I don't know how to link a video but saw an interesting video angle posted on Facebook by an Andrew Hinz that gives a little insight to what that official may have seen.

Keep winning and look forward to seeing you in Lincoln in a few weeks!

Just terrible

Big Ten determines officials correctly handled out-of-bounds call in MSU-Nebraska game. http://www.sportingnews.com/ncaa-football-news/4660557-big-ten-officials-nebraska-michigan-state?eadid=SOC/Twi/SNMain…

B1G ruling...
Huskers win and the right calls were made.

They did not say the right calls were made, only that the officials handled it right. Presumably meaning that the review booth couldn't overturn the clown's call on the field. It's all horse manure.

Because the DB rode him out.
That's why it was not reviewable. If Reilly would of gone out without contact then it would of been reviewable. Notice the hip check by Sparty?

Right...
The DB rode Reilly out of bounds.

This view shows less than the video already posted. Certainly can't see any contact there. Also, the WR has to go out "due to contact". In other words he has to be forced out by the DB. Just incidental contact wouldn't be enough to make the no call correct. The only noticeable contact is from the WR pushing the DB.

An undefeated top ranked team leaves Lincoln with a loss. They lost to a Nebraska team rebuilding for the future. Now that's gotta be a tough pill to swallow.

Big Ten said it was handled correctly. They say they don't need to be forced out, just needs to be any sort of contact. Then, they have to re-establish themselves back in bounds, which they did.

Wrong, the replay officials can only look at whether there was contact or not when the play is in review. The WR does need to be forced out due to contact according to the rule. That decision has to be made on the field. The Big Ten said nothing about whether the call on the field was correct or not.

Also, the WR took like 4 strides OB so he didn't immediately return to the field of play, which should have also disqualified him by rule.

Redrover - why are you here? You had 1 post on this board and now you have another 17 on this single thread.

Why you have to come on here and keep justifying your BIG 4th win - is beyond embarrassing - but hey Congrats on your 4th win.
